El MaestroFor 2008 we now have a superb selection of proven Studs with impeccable genetics. Our top stud is the solid white Accoyo macho NWA Accoyo El Maestro of Purston, who came to us in autumn 2006, having moved from the US to Europe. At the same time, we received the stunning mid fawn Stud Yellowstone of Purston. Both of these proven Studs have thrown some excellent crias, with advanced fleeces, in 2007 and we expect their progeny to excel in the show ring in 2008. Both successfully covered a number of females in 2007 and we look forward with interest to their 2008 progeny.

We also retain Purston Peruvian Kim, our hugely successful dark brown huacaya Stud and Purston Peruvian Night Sky, the black suri Stud and both continue to be much in demand.

Our lovely grey Stud Purston Caravaggio, continues to throw gorgeous grey crias and has been used by many Breeders. In addition Purston Van Dyck, our jet black huacaya Stud has been a prolific breeder with a high percentage of his crias being female and black.

Purston Jasper John whose fleece was 22.8 Mc at 8 years of age, still throws excellent solid white crias with one being Champion white female at the South of England Show in 2006.

Finally our promising young Suri Stud, Willaston Krug has lived up to expectations, with most attractive, well conformed quality crias, ranging from solid brown down to solid light fawn in colour.
