Purston Alpacas has been supplying Stud Services for 11 years and we now have a superb selection of established and proven Studs with impeccable genetics. Our top stud is the solid white Accoyo macho NWA Accoyo El Maestro of Purston, who came to us in autumn 2006, having moved from the US to Europe.
We are also proud that Purston Peruvian Kim, our hugely successful dark brown huacaya Stud is still working as well as ever and now has more than 120 progeny on the BAS Registry. Both of these proven Studs have thrown some excellent crias, with advanced fleeces, who have excelled in the Show Ring. Many Breeders have seen the benefit of these elite genetics.
Our big news for 2011 is the introduction of Purston Alexander the Great to our team. He is a very good looking and prolific Show winning son of Kim and we expect great things from him. He successfully covered a few females in 2010 and we will use him a lot in 2011.
Purston Peruvian Night Sky, the black suri Stud also continues to be much in demand as well as Purston Jasper John whose 7th fleece was 22.8 Mc , and still throws excellent solid white crias with one being Champion white female at the South of England Show in 2006.
Our top Suri Stud, Willaston Krug has lived up to expectations, producing most attractive, well conformed quality suri crias, ranging from solid brown down to solid light fawn in colour.
